We’re trying this new thing where we plan out each meal for our family every Sunday so that we only buy the meats and groceries that we need for what we will actually eat. Recently, we’ve noticed that a lot of foods have gone to waste, we were filling up on unwanted canned goods, and a lot of produce was making it to the trash bin before it was making it to our bellies. With food costs sky rocketing and with us trying to be more budget savvy and green we decided to try a meal plan for a couple weeks. These meals plans will be about our dinners only just so that is understood…
Sunday – Barbecue Spare Ribs, Corn on the Cob, Mashed Potatos (at moms)
Monday – Beef Tacos with Soft Tortilla Shells and all the Fixins (lettuce, onion, cheese, salsa, peppers)
Tuesday – Grilled Pork Chops, Honey Garlic Noodles and Broccoli/Cauliflower
Wednesday – Chicken Penne Alfredo with Garden Salad
Thursday – Hot Italian Sausage, Grilled Peppers & Onion over Rice
Friday – Meatloaf, Roasted Red Potatos, Peas and Carrots
Saturday – Mini Beef Pot Pies with Rice and a Cold Veggie Tray
