Jacob came into our lives completely unexpectedly but at the exact right moment in time and this June 9th he is going to be 3 years old. In this blog he is often referred to as The Dictator only because he has been going through those trying years often known as the “terrible two’s” or as I refer to as the biggest scam on earth – it’s not really the terrible twos – I totally believe we’re in for it during the “three’s”. If I was being completely truthful The Dictator is not so terrible at all…although he is able to let you know what he wants and when he wants it….very clearly!
He was my quiet baby…the one who you never knew was in the room unless you saw him with your very own eyes. He has a gentle soul and an adventurous attitude that I’ve just fallen in love with over the past three years. I’m pretty sure that The Dictator is already smarter then me in both wit and knowledge! Ha! We call him the puzzler because he has a crazy ability to put any puzzle together in less then 7 minutes – which is not bad for a kid who still poops in his pull up and plays without needing or wanting it changed..GROSS and we’re working on it! Jacob is cuddly, independent, curious and spirited -he doesn’t accept “because” as an explanation for anything and will easily tell you “because is not a reason Mommy!”…see what I mean? Smarter then me because it sounded like a perfectly good reason when I said it or I wouldn’t have said it.
The Dictator is a lover of Wonder Pets, a cold glass of lemalade (which is really lemonade that is watered down in our house), and a lover of the outdoors. He is quiet and fun loving but don’t let him fool you – he does his fair share of visits to the naughty chair!
And yes…I sometimes let him lick the knife – Bad Mama.
